Introduction
Fans returned for the 2022 Royal Rumble, and – well – it wasn’t the best. In the match, Brock Lesnar – entering at #30, eliminated 5 competitors and won the match, to setup a title match against Roman Reigns to unify the World Championships.
One of the pre-match favourite, AJ Styles, had a strong showing. Starting at #1 he held both the Iron Man & most eliminations with 6.
This match saw one notable interesting thing: Sami Zayn set up his match with Johnny Knoxville at Wrestlemania by eliminating him from the match, however the star of Jackass would have his revenge at the Showcase of the Immortals.
